OverviewReporting to the Events Manager you will be responsible to sell (proactively and reactively) the rooms, suites, event rooms and FandB outlets to new and existing clients.

You will handle and convert meetings, events and groups requests (telephone, internet and email) for all private event rooms. You will be responsible from start to end co-ordination, customer liaison, organization and for the delivery of outstanding events experience using all the hotel has to give. You will put group resume together and coordinating with the relevant department prior group arrival. You will ensure all sales opportunities are identified and effectively converted into bookings and additional revenue. You will issue Banquet Event Orders on a weekly basis and communicate to all departments including FandB and Banqueting about amendments, late bookings and special requirements.

Required to have the ability to work on a busy environment and to handle different tasks at the same time as well as work independently and as part of the team. He / she will need to think clearly and quickly, as well as make conscientious decisions. Impeccable attention to detail is imperative, and the ability to prioritise, organise and follow up is of upmost importance.
