Our PMO Bristol Southwest team is expanding its Controls community. We are a close-knit team seeking passionate and ambitious candidates across all professional, senior professional and managerial grades who will support our early careers, grow into leadership roles and bring their skills to our communities of practice, fostering our values with emphasis on Bringing out the best in Everyone.With growth in the region including new Major Programmes, Projects and Clients, we’re looking for flexible and mobile Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management candidates to deliver services in our local region. Travel within the South West is required dependent on the project. The role offers access to diverse sectors and opportunities to autonomously apply expertise to provide bespoke client solutions and to develop professionally with support from line managers.Working alongside project delivery teams as part of a wider reporting and performance management team or independently with reach back support to experienced professionals, you will contribute to the client’s project controls and performance delivery.Responsibilities
Tailor reporting processes to meet the client’s needs and align with best practice.Deliver performance and reporting management plans for clients based on project requirements, maturity, and best practice.Promote the benefits and requirements of Performance Reporting and Analytics within the project and programme team.Implement, administer, and maintain reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.Collaborate with Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, integrated Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the change control process.Roll out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent cadence of performance data and time for analysis.Work with project controls to define requirements and data flows for information management systems and support digital teams in their implementation.Lead the development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets.Provide guidance on data quality to a wide range of data providers.Lead material preparation for governance through projects, programmes, portfolios and the enterprise.Identify performance recovery recommendations for stakeholders to support effective decision making.Support the project team in developing and embedding KPIs and contribute to the performance measures dictionary.Develop project performance reports and dashboards, providing recommendations to stakeholders to support decision making.Lead preparation of presentations and materials for client governance forums and performance reviews.Contribute to national and regional performance and reporting communities including Communities of Practice.Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.Qualifications
Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.Understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Reporting.Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements and documenting these using appropriate tools and documentation.Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.) is desirable.Experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).Understanding of data, data architecture and data models.Additional Information
