A key figure in the Leadership team, leading the Infrastructure team with the day-to-day repair and maintenance of the Track and associated Civil Engineering Infrastructure. Leading a team of circa 100 Rail and Civil Engineering professionals to maintain an operational railway, covering a 24/7 work pattern. With a mixture of subject matter experts in P-Way / Track, Structures, Groundworks and Systems. The Head of Infrastructure is responsible for both daily operations and using a proactive reliability improvement asset management plan to deliver a safe and reliable service in adherence to safety, performance and cost expectations.
