Food Technology TeacherLocation: East LancashireJob Type: Temporary (until summer, with potential extension)Key Stages: KS3 and KS4We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant school in East Lancashire. This temporary position is available until the summer, with the possibility of extension. The role involves teaching students at KS3 and KS4 levels, providing them with the skills and knowledge in food technology, and inspiring a passion for the subject.Day-to-day of the role:Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the curriculum standards.Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are actively engaged.Assess and record students'' progress and provide feedback to help them improve.Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment that is conducive to learning.Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and create a dynamic learning environment.Participate in school events and activities related to the subject.Required Skills and Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels.Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices.Excellent organisational and communication skills.Ability to create a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.Enthusiasm for the subject and teaching.Benefits:Supportive and inclusive school environment.Opportuni
