One of the largest suppliers in the UK with over 35 years'' experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers are looking for an HGV Technician to join the team and look after a fleet of vehicles. Your area is to cover the Southeast from Oxford, down to Southampton and across to Kent with the odd cover in other areas when needed. Reporting to the Fleet Tanker Maintenance Manager you will take ownership of maintaining and repairing their bulk fleet and you will be required to undertake regular gas preventative maintenance work as well as repairing gas and mechanical defects on our bulk fleet.The role will involve liaising with the Fleet Maintenance and Planning Teams who will schedule the planned maintenance and also other members of the Fleet Team for unplanned repairs and maintenance, and you may be required to be paid on call or paid standby outside of regular working hours.
