Overview

Position: Risk and Control ManagerLocation: LondonCorporate Title: AVPThis London-based role is suitable for an experienced professional with a solid understanding of Risk and Control frameworks in investment banking. You will be responsible for business-as-usual controls in the benchmark space, data analysis, and automation tasks within the Operational Risk Management Strategic Control Execution Team (including Benchmark and Index Control Group, SCET_PP, SCET Analytics, and SCET Central).Responsibilities

Execute business-as-usual (BAU) controls related to benchmark administration and usage.Deliver data analysis, reporting, and automation solutions, including building Power Apps and maintaining documentation.Create management information (MI) and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.Prepare content and materials for recurring meetings and forums.Collaborate with support teams across systems to manage and implement change requests.Contribute to ongoing governance activities that support run-the-bank operations.Skills and Experience

Risk management and control environment experience (or a highly regulated environment), ideally familiar with benchmarks activities and Benchmark RegulationsUnderstanding or curiosity about financial markets and financial products is a plusHighly organized with strong analytics skills; experience in data analytics and delivering data/reporting/automation projectsTechnology savviness with knowledge of system development workflows and coding languages (Power Platform, SQL, Python, Tableau); coding experience preferred but not essentialAttention to detail under pressure and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBenefits
