Job Title: Field Service Team Leader
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £48,000 + Company Van
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days

We’re looking for a Field Service Team Leader to take charge of a small team of engineers while still being hands-on yourself. The role is a mix of site-based work and travelling locally to food manufacturing sites, working on a wide range of machinery – from older kit that needs regular servicing to new installs being fitted into factories.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and support a team of Field Service Engineers on servicing, repairs, and installs.
• Stay hands-on with mechanical and electrical work on food machinery (both old and new).
• Carry out repairs, routine maintenance, and full installations into client factories.
• Plan and organise work schedules to keep everything running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and guide the team to get jobs sorted quickly.
• Build strong client relationships – be the Field Service Team Leader they know they can rely on.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background as a Maintenance Engineer or Field Service Engineer.
• Experience leading or mentoring others, or ready to step into leadership.
• Practical problem solver who can make quick decisions on site.
• Able to balance working on the tools with organising your team.
• Flexible to travel across the local area as a Field Service Team Leader.
