ResponsibilitiesManage and prioritise your own caseloadLead on energy and infrastructure projects (water, gas, electricity)Undertake site appraisals and pre-application advice requestsPrepare, submit and manage planning applications and reportsDeliver clear, bespoke planning advice to clientsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholdersLiaise with Planning Officers, Councillors and statutory consulteesProject manage multidisciplinary teams (e.g. architects, highways, ecology)Attend and lead project and client meetingsNegotiate to secure the best outcomes for clientsMentor junior team members, including APC supportSupport team collaboration and share workloadsManage budgets, time recording and invoicingRequirementsMRTPI qualified (or equivalent experience at senior level)Strong experience within planning, ideally including infrastructure or energy projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesSelf-motivated with a proactive approachHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong understanding of the UK planning system and marketProficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systemsTeam player with leadership and mentor
