This is a fantastic opportunity to work on precision tooling in a high-quality, fast-paced environment.Salary: £41,000Shift Pattern: Days only Location: MansfieldThe RoleAs a Toolmaker, you will manufacture, maintain, and repair precision moulds, jigs, and fixtures, supporting production and engineering teams to ensure tooling operates reliably and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture and assemble mould tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to engineering drawings.Perform routine maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on production tooling.Operate conventional toolroom machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) and hand tools to precision standards.Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data to plan and execute machining operations.Measure and verify components using precision instruments such as micrometers and gauges.Modify tooling to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.Maintain a safe, clean, and organised toolroom environment.Skills and ExperienceTime-served Toolmaker qualification or equivalent apprenticeship.Experience with precision machining, both manual and CNC desirable.Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.Experience with injection mould tooling and hot-runner systems advantageous.If this role is of interest please cl
