One of the UK’s largest independent Property Consultancies is actively recruiting for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their established London office.

My client is one of the leading Consultancies in the UK, with a network of offices across the country as well as overseas. They have an outstanding reputation in the market and are currently delivering some of London’s most high-profile Commercial sector developments. Projects span both the Public and Private sectors and include office towers, corporate campuses, retail schemes, and mixed-use commercial developments for high-profile clients. Values can range from £5 million up to multi-billion-pound projects. While the role has a strong Commercial sector focus, the business offers the opportunity to gain exposure across a range of sectors.

THE POSITION

They are actively looking to recruit an Associate Quantity Surveyor to take a leading role in managing Commercial sector projects from inception to completion. The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing client relationships, and leading project teams across a diverse portfolio within London’s commercial markets. Project values typically range from £1 million up to £500 million, with opportunities to support projects across other sectors where required.

At Associate level, the successful candidate will play a key role in business and client development, representing the consultancy at networking events and industry meetings, supporting team leadership, and contributing to the continued growth of the Commercial division in London.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor must:

Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying and be a full member of the RICS (chartered)

Have extensive experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a Consultancy / PQS environment

Have strong experience delivering projects within the Property / Building sectors

Possess a solid track record delivering Commercial sector projects, with additional experience in mixed-use, office new build, or high-end residential schemes desirable

Possess strong communication and client-facing skills

Demonstrate the ability to manage projects independently from inception through to completion

Have experience supporting business development, client management, and team leadership activities
