We re hiring for a Press Brake Programmer to join a longstanding fabrication company based in Hyde. This is a hands-on role working on a variety of bespoke products, primarily operating a Press brake with the option to grow your skills within fabrication and welding of sheet metal. What s on offer? £15.50 - £17.50 per hour Mon - Fri 7:30am 4:45pm Early finish on Thursdays and Fridays Standard holiday entitlement + bank holidays Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate) Christmas party and team events Opportunity to be trained up and developed further within sheet metal fabrication What will you be doing as a Press Brake Programmer? Setting, programming and operating brake press, guillotine and laser machines Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Cutting and bending metal components (mild and stainless steel) Inspecting parts and ensuring components meet required tolerances Minimising wastage and reporting material shortages Ability to assist with fabrication i.e. TIG tack welding and basic fabrication duties What do you need?
