Housing Investment and Compliance Services Manager

Our local authority client based in Leicester are urgently seeking an experienced Housing Investment and Compliance Services Manager. 45 an hour Umbrella Job Purpose To lead, manage, and deliver planned maintenance, property improvements, and compliance functions relating to the delivery of landlord services to ensure that as far as reasonably practicable the Council acts in accordance with all relevant legislative, statutory, and regulatory obligations, that tenants, the public and staff are kept safe, and that services delivered are of a high quality. To deliver an effective and appropriate service to all service users, fairly and without discrimination. Main Duties and Responsibilities Provide expert professional and technical knowledge in relation to all housing maintenance, compliance, and planned improvement functions delivered and required by the Council. Provide an effective, efficient, and timely maintenance, compliance, and planned improvements service for the homes, communal areas, and other assets in the housing revenue account for which the Council is responsible, to achieve and maintain compliance with the Decent Homes Standard and fulfil the Councils repairing obligations. Produce an accurate, up to date and evidenced stock condition data set based on a physical assessment of all homes, and act on this data to develop and deliver programmes to achieve good quality, well maintained, energy efficient, and safe homes for tenants, which comply with all legal
