We’ve recently deployed the UK’s largest synthetic fuel plant and are planning to 1000x this scale in the next 2 years.We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to bring our designs to life and help integrate our reactor and electrolyser systems. We have large amounts of condensing, cooling, plumbing, and system integration to do and need curiosity and urgency to battle the thermodynamics that are working against us to wrestle H2 and CO2 into formation.We have one single goal – reduce the leveralised cost of methane to the point drilling stops and companies mine the sky for carbon. Condensing gas streams to reactor specificationsGasket and cell designOver-moulding and metal profiling

Design control programs to pair production with off-grid DC solar effectively and safelyOversee design, manufacturing, build and deployment of entire systemCore skills:

5+ years professional experienceBachelor’s or Masters in mechanical/aero or related fieldFundamental thermofluids understanding, heat and mass transfer, chemical kineticsSimulation/analytical modelling competencyTest setup design, running of experiments and data analysisSpecifics:
