About the role Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Section Engineer to join our Lower Thames Crossing project. What you''ll be doing As a Section Engineer, you will control a section of the works, according to a specific discipline. Management of a team of Site Engineers within same discipline. Produces Method Statements and Risk Assessments and undertakes periodic reviews Prepares and raises Temporary Works Briefs, following up to ensure timely implementation Undertakes and mentors less experienced staff in safety audits Provision of ''primary'' setting out control and recognises the optimum location for installation Actively uses the Specification for reference and coaches junior team members in using the Spec Maintains a comprehensive filing system of quality records aligned to the Project Quality Handover requirements Ensures that Site Engineers complete the required quality checksheets
