Our client is a specialist electrical and renewable energy contractor delivering high-quality domestic renewable installations across the South East and East Anglia. With a growing portfolio of projects and upcoming contract wins, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced and motivated Electrician.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business at the forefront of renewable technologies, working on a variety of domestic solar, battery storage and electrical installation projects.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations and renewable energy works across domestic properties. You will work independently and as part of a wider team, delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.

The role will involve regular travel across a broad geographical area, including Norfolk, East Anglia, Reading, Brighton and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works in domestic properties
• Install and commission renewable energy systems including Solar PV and Battery Storage
• Conduct electrical testing, inspection and fault-finding activities
• Complete EICRs and certification in line with current regulations
• Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and industry standards
• Maintain accurate job documentation and reports
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally on-site
• Work safely and efficiently while managing your own workload

Requirements

Essential

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Experience working as a qualified Electrician
• Strong installation background within domestic environments
• Inspection, testing and fault-finding experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively

Desirable

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Qualification
• Experience with Solar PV installations
• Experience with Battery Storage Systems
• Experience within the renewable energy sector
• ECS Gold Card
