Corporate Tax Director role at BDO UK (Leeds). The Tax team provides advisory and compliance services to a range of clients, including start-ups, scale-ups, private businesses and FTSE-listed multinationals. The Leeds tax team is integrated with other tax specialisms to deliver holistic services and trusted client relationships.Responsibilities

Be a stakeholder in the delivery of the Tax strategic framework with regular involvement in tax planning and complex tax issues in conjunction with the Leeds Partner group.Keep the relevant Partner informed about any new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients.Develop/maintain your own network of internal and external contacts, start to win own work and cross-sell.Be responsible for the review and delivery of final advice to clients.Respond quickly to, and anticipate, client requests/needs; keep clients informed of progress and maintain regular contact.Coach and develop junior staff.Seek innovative solutions to complex challenges.Leverage stakeholder relationships to deliver superior results.Define best practice and industry standards.Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration with experts and specialists as needed.Direct large-scale projects across multiple areas of expertise or multiple functions.Requirements

Deep, up-to-date knowledge of taxation relevant to your portfolio of clients and the ability to handle complex tax issues.Project and staff management experience.Ability to manage a substantial client portfolio profitably while seeking opportunities to develop new clients and sell new services to existing clients.Experience of dealing with client senior management.CTA and/or ACA qualification or equivalent.Experience in senior management roles within practice.Additional Information
