The home provides a safe, nurturing environment for young people with emotional and behavioural needs.As Deputy Service Manager, you will support the Registered Manager with the daily running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for the young people. You will lead and motivate a dedicated team, contribute to care planning and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the home in accordance with Ofsted standards and company policiesProvide leadership and guidance to Team Leaders and Support WorkersSupport with assessments, transitions, and development of care plansMaintain a safe and supportive environment for young peopleContribute to staff recruitment, training, and supervisionLiaise with external professionals and families to ensure the best outcomes for residentsParticipate in the on-call management rota Requirements: NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards)Minimum 6 years experience in social care, with at least 2 in a leadership roleStrong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory frameworksPassion for supporting young people and promoting their developmentFlexibility to work across shift patterns and on-call as required Benef
