.NET Developer

Location: Remote
Salary: Up to 55k.

A leading Managed Services Provider is seeking a skilled Backend .NET Developer to join their development team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-grade systems and infrastructure projects, delivering robust and scalable backend solutions for a diverse client portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications using the Microsoft .NET stack, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and integration. This position suits someone with a solid understanding of backend architecture and a passion for clean, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Optimise application performance and scalability
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support deployment and monitoring
• Work with SQL Server and other data storage technologies
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to best practices

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in backend development with the .NET ecosystem
• Strong understanding of API design, integration, and security
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (e.g., Docker)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in a Managed Services or enterprise IT environment is advantageous

Must be eligible for SC Clearance
