Business Development Manager – South of England£60,000 base salary, £75,000 OTE company car or allowance, and excellent benefitsAre you a driven sales professional with experience in rotating equipment looking to take your career to the next level?We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our leading seal solutions manufacturer, supporting growth across a thriving region.About the RoleBased in the South of England, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, building lasting relationships, and driving the adoption of our high-quality sealing solutions across a breadth of industries. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and translating those into compelling, value-driven solutions.What You’ll Be DoingProactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within both new and existing accounts.Representing our brand and product range to potential clients across several market sectors.Acting as a trusted advisor, understanding technical requirements, and shaping tailored solutions in close coordination with engineering and support teams.Managing the entire sales process, including presentations, product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and closing deals to exceed set targets.Monitoring market developments, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform your strategy.Networking extensively at industry events, exhibitions, and across the territory.What We’re Looking ForProven experience in technical sales or business development within a manufacturing or industrial environment.A background in rotating equipment, such as pumps, valves, actuators, fans, compressors, or related components, is highly desirable.Experience with mechanical seals is advantageous, but not essential.Strong commercial focus, excellent negotiation skills, and a consultative sales approach.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a field-based capacity.Full UK driving licence and readiness to travel across the region.What’s on OfferCompetitive basic salary backed by an uncapped performance-related commission/bonus scheme.Company vehicle or car allowance.Pension scheme and a comprehensive benefits package.Continuous training, professional development, and opportunities to grow your career with an innovative, forward-thinking company.If you thrive in a technical sales environment and are motivated by building partnerships and delivering value, we’d love to hear from you!Apply now to become a key part of a growing team and help shape the future of sealing solutions in the South of England.
