We are recruiting for our very well established and long standing engineering business in the heart of Grantham. They are looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join the company due to continued growth and an ever growing and robust order book.

Working Monday to Friday to start for training and settling in the hours would be Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4.15pm and Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm.
 

Working Hours Mechanical Fitter

• Day Shift: 07:30 – 16:15 (Mon–Thu), 07:30 – 12:30 (Fri)
• Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:15 (Mon–Thu), 06:00 – 12:30 (Fri) – shift allowance up to £69.58 per week
• Late Shift: 13:15 – 23:15 (Mon–Wed), 13:30 – 22:30 (Thu) – shift allowance up to £85.28 per week

The Mechanical Fitter will demonstrate:

• Proven track record and be competent in electro-mechanical knowledge,
• Fault-finding, identifying and problem-solving abilities.
• Stripping down generators, motors, gearboxes, fans, pumps from scratch, cleaning and repairing
• Take responsibility for repair and service paperwork and job sheets.

We are looking for candidates who have worked as a mechanical fitter in a fast paced workshop skilled in electrical, automotive, industrial maintenance, power generation, electrical, production line, or similar settings.
