Job Coach Location: Derbyshire area Salary: £19,600 £21,400 (pro rata) Hours: 29.5 hours per week / 52 weeks per year Holidays: 38 days per year (pro rata) Pension: LGPS scheme We re working with a well regarded Ofsted rated FE college in the Chesterfield area which has expanded its supported internship provision this year. They re recruiting a Liaison Officer who will act as the bridge between the college, employers and students on supported internships. These students all have EHCPs and the role is vital in ensuring they receive the right support in employment and from the college. Key Responsibilities: Building and maintaining positive relationships with employers to secure suitable placements for supported interns. Liaising with college staff, learners and employers to ensure the internship is meeting individual needs and outcomes. Supporting the planning, monitoring and review of internships for learners with EHCPs. Driving visits to employers and working off your own initiative this is a new role so you ll be helping shape how it works. Ensuring workplace support mechanisms are in place and that both employer and learner understand expectations and adjustments. What We re Looking For: Experience supporting people in the workplace (preferably -year-olds) is desirable. Ability to drive and travel to employer sites in the region.
