Clinical duties involve seeing patients face-to-face or via telephone consultations. Sessions include:Face-to-face clinicVisiting doctorDuty doctorNavigation doctorNon-GMS doctorEnhanced Access doctorFace-to-face sessions comprise:10 appointments of 15 minutes each, with catch-up slots after every 3 appointments4 follow-up telephone calls for patient follow-up2 sick-note slotsDuty, Navigation, and Visiting doctor duties are carried out in a shared Duty Hub, including triage, prescription sign-off, and clinical support for staff. Visiting doctor sessions involve triaged visits; non-GMS and Enhanced Access sessions are also described. The practice offers morning or afternoon sessions, with EA sessions starting 4pm to 8pm and additional pay for unsociable hours.Other operational details include surgery times, locum opportunities, annual appraisal, and administration processes. Regular monthly team meetings, safeguarding and palliative/frailty meetings, and opportunities for special interests and mentoring are provided.Qualifications
