Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Our client is a well-known Asbestos outfit, who are growing their presence in the South East of England, and seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and flexible, as the role may involve travel and adapting to client requirements. Client contracts include domestic and commercial sites in and around the M25. The company are able to also consider candidates who are dual-qualified with the P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent). Salaries and benefits are competitive.

Client contracts are based within: Orpington, Bromley, Sidcup, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Caterham, Redhill, Crawley, East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Snodland, Maidstone, Mitcham, Epsom, Rainham, Grays, Tilbury, Barking, Ilford, Dagenham, Romford, Hornchurch, Basildon, Billericay, Wickford.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Strong history working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
- Robust UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Able to travel in line with company requirements

The Role:
- Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial and domestic housing stock
- Sampling for asbestos on site and transporting to the lab for analysis
- Producing detailed survey reports for clients
- Ensuring to wear correct PPE at all times
- Working to health and safety guidelines
- Answering client technical queries
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Meeting required personal targets
