Construction Estimator Wigan Amspec Limited in Wigan have grown over the last 23 years into one of the most capable and exciting Design and Build enterprises in the Northwest, currently operating in 4 key sectors: Commercial and Industrial Retail and Leisure Public Sector Specialist and Bespoke (our Specialist and Bespoke service involves the Design and Manufacture of fitted and loose Joinery products). We currently have a fantastic opportunity to add to our busy Commercial Team by way of recruiting an Experienced or Assistant Estimator. For both positions we expect you to have some Construction / Interiors Sector experience, working on projects of varying values. Having either gained / in the process of, or interested in achieving a qualification in Construction and The Built Environment or similar Construction related degree. The successful candidate s role will include producing high quality, accurate estimates, presented in a legible, analytical and logical format. You will also be responsible for processing tenders, reviewing tenders within the team prior to submission, identifying risks, acquiring prices from our pool of sub-contractors, preparing accurate take offs. Amspec work with specific estimating software, and knowledge of Evaluate or something similar would be beneficial, although full training will be given.
