Associate Creative Director

Overview
Role: Associate Creative Director - experiential/event creative leadershipWe are seeking an Associate Creative Director to play a key role in developing and delivering innovative creative concepts that bring our clients'' brands to life. This role combines idea generation, storytelling with an understanding of the experience journey through multiple touchpoints. You will shape creative concepts and storytelling threads in response to client and audience requirements. You will brief across design (2D/3D), content, and sensory experiences. Support the creative development process end-to-end to ensure Sleek''s work is original, impactful, and seamless in execution. You will be highly creative, organized, and comfortable working across both pitch and live project environments to bring ideas to life that inspire clients and audiences.
Responsibilities
The Big Idea: Lead creation and curation of compelling event experiences and campaign concepts from pitch to live delivery.
Storytelling: Shape look/feel, messaging, and narrative red thread for experiences that connect with audiences.
Engagement: Define interactions and immersive touchpoints; explore technology and performance to inspire fresh thinking.
The Sell: Craft presentations that clearly convey concept, integrating insight, story, proposition, and touchpoints.
Research: Follow cultural and industry trends; suggest potential cultural collaborations and conversations.
Inspire: With the Creative Director, disseminate creative inspiration across the team; mentor junior members.
Project Delivery: Brief designers, producers, and technical teams; ensure creative intent is realized with mood boards, performance specs, scripts, storyboards; maintain quality control and safeguarding principles.
Collaboration: Work with designers, producers, and technical teams to ensure ideas are faithfully executed; attend project meetings with budgets, timelines, KPIs; update concepts as development progresses.
Venue support: Assist on venue selections and site visits to map the overall experience across real space.
Maintain consistency and quality across all creative outputs.
Business Development: Build client rapport and spot opportunities to introduce new thinking in client relationships.
Required Experience and Skills
Experience within events, experiential marketing, or related creative industry.
A portfolio demonstrating creativity across different event formats (B2B/B2C).
Strategic thinking, evaluating brand and audience insights to keep concepts relevant.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills with client-facing confidence.
Ability to balance creativity with practical delivery (budget, technical, logistics).
Proficiency in creative/presentation tools (Adobe Creative Suite; PowerPoint; Miro). Comfortable using AI generative software (ChatGPT, Midjourney or similar).
Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
