We’re working in partnership with a well-established and growing client in the construction sector to recruit an Estimator to join their team in Pontypool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen analytical mindset and a passion for delivering accurate, competitive tenders to play a key role in shaping project success from the outset.

As an Estimator, you’ll be instrumental in the early stages of projects—interpreting technical drawings, preparing detailed costings, and supporting the overall bid strategy to help secure new business.

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), pricing models, and tender submissions
• Liaise with suppliers, analyse quotations, and support tender strategy
• Contribute to value engineering and risk assessment processes

• Previous experience in an estimating role (construction or steel preferred)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator, able to liaise across technical and commercial teams

• Competitive salary of £30,000 – £40,000
