Engineering and Maintenance Manager Energy from WasteUp to £70,000 + bonus + benefitsBristolMC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join a energy from waste power station in Bristol. This plant processes over 400,000 tonnes of waste per year generating enough electricity to power around 95,000 homes. The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance function, including a team of multi skilled technicians, ensuring maximum plant availability with minimal downtime.As the Engineering and Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for: Managing and directing a team of mechanical, electrical and CandI technicians to ensure minimum plant downtime and maximum availabilityPlanning and executing plant shutdowns/outagesManaging the departments maintenance budgetOversee the management of the maintenance scheduleDevelop and maintain records of plant maintenance including work orders, PPMs and planned and unplanned outages and inspectionsOverseeing on site contractorsDeputising for the Plant Manager when required To be considered for this role you should have: A minimum of a HNC in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally mechanicalAt least 5 years of experience in maintenance/engineering in a relevant heavy process industry, ideally power generation but industries such as chemical production, aggregate or similar.
