Location: Essex, UKStart Date: ImmediateContract Length: 6 months (with potential for extension)Day Rate: 325 (Negotiable)Working Hours: 45 hours/week, Monday to FridayAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to oversee Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality on an AGI (Above Ground Installation) build project in Essex. This is a contract position offering an immediate start and the opportunity to work on a high-profile utilities infrastructure project.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all SHEQ aspects of the AGI build.Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and company standards.Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Promote a strong safety culture across the site team and subcontractors.Liaise with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure SHEQ objectives are met.Requirements:Proven experience in a SHEQ role within the gas sector is highly desirable.Candidates with utilities sector experience will also be considered.Strong knowledge of UK SHEQ regulations and best practices.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Relevant SHEQ qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).Please click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
