If you take pride in producing accurate work and enjoy working with technical equipment, this opportunity could be the perfect fit.The Role of the Slitting Machine OperatorAs a Slitting Operator, you ll be responsible for running conversion machinery to produce finished slit reels to specification, ensuring safety, efficiency, and product quality at every stage of the process.Key Responsibilities of a Slitting Machine Operator: Select films, materials, and supplies in line with job specifications.Set up and operate slitting machinery safely and efficiently.Perform process inspections to ensure product meets all quality standards.Unload, record, palletise, and package finished products according to internal and customer requirements.Accurately complete production reports in the Mills system to ensure proper time recording and product identification.Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy machine area at all times.Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and inform maintenance of any repairs needed.Rework non-conforming products when required.Manage waste responsibly emptying skips, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring waste is correctly disposed of.Update Daily Management boards and support continuous improve
