This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key technical leadership role, working across a diverse range of industry projects while mentoring and developing junior engineers.The RoleAs a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design and development of mechanical systems and enclosures from concept through to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of mechanical products and enclosures across the full product life cycleProduce and review 2D and 3D CAD designs, primarily using SolidWorksDefine mechanical architecture and ensure robust, scalable design solutionsWork closely with manufacturing and liaise with manufacturing engineers to support production and assembly processesDesign for manufacturability, including injection moulding and sheet metal componentsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersSupport multiple projects across different industry sectorsKey RequirementsProven experience in a senior or lead mechanical design roleStrong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, particularly SolidWorksExperience acro
