Purpose of the Finance Business Partner opportunity:To support the delivery of an integrated, robust financial planning process.To support the provision of high-quality, accurate, relevant and timely monitoring and forecasting information.Provide financial advice and guidance to stakeholders. Key duties and responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner will include:To provide strategic financial and commercial advice, support and information.To deliver high-quality, efficient financial, accounting and budgeting services to support the council.To support with and lead on the delivery of the medium term financial planning.Provide strategic analysis and financial advice to stakeholders across the council.Produce and present monthly management accounts, identifying key trends and making recommendations.Lead budget setting and support completion of the annual statement of accounts.Provide clear, accurate financial information for council committees.
