Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in Harewood, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.Support the kitchen team in daily operationsWash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficientlyAssist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the chefMaintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areasEnsure proper storage of kitchen items and ingredientsAssist with receiving and storing deliveriesComply with all health and safety regulationsContribute to a positive and collaborative work environmentPerform any other duties as assigned by the kitchen management

Qualifications

Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periodsCapability to lift and carry heavy objects safelyExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions preciselyBasic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is advantageousStrong communication and teamwork skillsFood hygiene awarenessEfficient time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsResilience and ability to work under pressurePositive attitude and willingness to learn
