We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for an online retailer based near Tarporley on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of 12.30. Full, clean UK Driving License is essential. As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a team of other Warehouse and Yard Operatives with a variety of duties which will include heavy lifting of furniture as well as driving the van twice per week. Duties as below:Unloading of 40ft shipping containers (Full of furniture) decanting into the warehousePicking furniture from the warehouse ready to load on 3.5 tonne vansLoad the vans, securing the furniture in placePicking furniture for Amazon PRIME, DPD and their 3rd Party delivery partnerLabelling the furniture and loading onto their delivery partners'' vansGeneral warehousing duties, defragging and creating spaceUnloading of returning vehicles from delivery runsSorting ReturnsLight repairs to returned stockReadying items for sale on eBaySkills and Experience Required:Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard OperativeFull Clean Driving License essentialExperience in driving a 3.5 tonne van preferableGood knowledge of warehouse activities including picking, despatch and returnsAbility to lift heavy itemsPlease apply today for this opportunity to join this well established and thriving organisation as Warehouse Operative.
