The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring all plant equipment, machinery, and site facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards. This position combines hands-on maintenance with compliance, documentation, and contractor coordination responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and minimise downtime across plant equipment Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and environmental standards Conduct routine safety checks (e.g. fire alarms, emergency systems) Perform planned preventative maintenance and site inspections Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and asset documentation Source and procure parts, tools, and consumables Coordinate subcontractors for servicing and statutory inspections Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance processes Work safely at height when required About You Strong mechanical maintenance background (essential) Electrical knowledge or qualif
