SHEQ Advisor - Repairs and MaintenanceBased in Essex Permanent Monday to Friday Full time 36 hours per week Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance on Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes, supporting the delivery of the SHEQ framework and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to embed safety practices, develop compliant policies and procedures, and ensure contractor adherence to protocols.Lead and support Health and Safety Committee meetings, accident investigations, and risk management activities, ensuring timely action and communication with LBBD''s HSE department.Conduct site inspections-including scaffold checks-drive remedial actions, and monitor performance to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.Maintain and support accreditation for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.Stay current with legislation and ensure business practices align with evolving regulatory requirements.Provide cover and assistance to the wider SHEQ team as needed, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing environment.QualificationsNEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent.TechIOSH status and membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).ExperienceProven application of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.Solid understanding of facilities management, construction sectors and SHEQ principles.Successful track record in change management within construc
