The role plays a key part in maintaining stable processes, reducing downtime, and ensuring consistent output and product quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting up, starting, adjusting, and shutting down extrusion linesInstalling and aligning extrusion dies, tooling, calibrators, and downstream equipmentOptimising temperatures, screw speed, pressure, line speed, and cooling systemsCompleting first-off checks and documenting process settingsTroubleshooting production issues such as dimensional variation, surface defects, and material inconsistenciesReducing scrap, improving line performance, and maintaining repeatable processesSupporting preventative maintenance and reporting breakdowns when requiredWorking closely with Toolroom and Engineering teams on tooling improvementsEnsuring products meet quality and dimensional specificationsAccurately recording process parameters and quality checksSupporting new product trials and
