Financial Reporting Manager

Overview
We are partnering with a large cap consumer/multi-site business of £400 million+ t/o. With a strong leadership team in place and a clear roadmap for growth, this business is entering its next phase of scaling and acquisitions.Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.Lead the year-end statutory accounts process and liaise with external auditors.Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporation tax submissions.Maintain and improve internal financial controls and reporting procedures.Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate cost centre accounting.Provide financial reports and insights to support strategic initiatives and projects.Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Hands on individual big into the detailPromote best practices and drive efficiency across the finance function.Qualifications and Experience
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in financial reporting.Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101/102, UK GAAP and AuditPrior audit experience (practice or industry) is highly desirable.Skills and Attributes
