A well-regarded and inclusive primary school in the Kidbrooke area of Greenwich is seeking a Primary Class Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2026.

The school has a strong reputation for early years and KS1 provision, with a clear focus on phonics, early reading and building secure foundations in literacy and numeracy. Pupils are well supported through structured routines and a consistent behaviour approach that creates a calm learning environment.

The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through a key stage of transition and preparation for end of KS1 assessments.

• Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
• Supporting progress in phonics, reading, writing and maths
• Assessing and tracking pupil development
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Working closely with KS1 colleagues and support staff

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds QTS with recent UK primary experience
• Has strong KS1 and phonics knowledge
• Demonstrates effective classroom management
• Is organised, reflective and proactive
• Works well within a team
