Opportunity: Head of Engineering (Confidential Search)

Key Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of electronic engineering within the rail industry or other transferable industries.
• Experienced in developing and leading a team of engineers with a focus on graduates
• Track record of leading engineering transformation (systems/processes)
• Experience in R&D - product development for regulated industries (ideally rail)

Soft Skills & Leadership:

• Engaging both externally and internally, strong communications skills, able to operate from boardroom to shop floor.
• Good operational leadership experience/balance of engineering R&S with Commercial, Operational Hands-on leadership
• Willingness to be hands-on while leading a team
• Resilient, organised and able to inspire through change
