HGV Technician - Days and Nights Available

* Full Time/Permanent

* Night Rate £18.00 to £22.60 per hour dependent on experience.

* Day Rate £17.00 to £20.00 per hour dependent on experience.

* Day Shift Hours 4 On 4 Off - 6am - 6pm

* Night Shift Hours 4 On 4 Off - 6pm-6am

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician:

* In the role of HGV Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

* Reporting to the Workshop Manager

* Servicing

* Maintaining and fixing various faults and mechanical issues

* Dealing with electrical faults in units

* Maintaining and fixing driving and parking sensors

* Required to work on HGV Units and Trailers

* Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested

* Fixing Suzie lines and connections

* Diagnostic work

* Brakes checks and changes

* Suspension work

* MOT Prep and Post MOT repair

Requirements of HGV Technician

* Have a Level 2 or 3 qualification with Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

* Full UK driving licence (HGV Licence beneficial but not essential)

* Experience in fault diagnostic equipment, e.g. Tech tool, STAR and JAL and including trailer systems

* Must have your own hand tools to bring with you
