Job role: Shift Engineer Up To £60,000 + Company Benefits + Overtime Development: Ongoing Training, Progression and Career Support We are working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturing business that is looking for a shift engineer to work across warehouse, packaging, and production teams. Due to continued growth and investment across the site, they are now seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join their engineering team. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring all plant and production equipment operates safely, reliably, and in line with performance standards. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of high-speed manufacturing and packaging machinery. Maintaining equipment including conveyors, robotics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and associated mechanical and electrical systems. Supporting the installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery on site. Undertaking hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and fault rectification. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. Following planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and accurately recording all maintenance activity. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and compliance with site health and safety procedures. Working proactively to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, performance, and cost efficiency. Providing technical support to production teams, including assistance with machine setups and operator training where required. U
