Position: Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Salary: -95 - -110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Temporary (with potential to go permanent)

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Newham to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a classroom setting, support students in their learning, and contribute to the life of a thriving school.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Work 1:1 or with small groups of students, including those with additional needs (SEND)
Help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people (in school or alternative settings)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage behaviour effectively and build rapport with students
A proactive, flexible, and patient approach
A passion for education and supporting student development
Desirable but not essential:
Degree or relevant qualification in education or youth work
Experience with SEND
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply through the agency)
