We are looking for an experienced job running Senior Technologist with a proven track record of designing and delivering projects to join our London studio.You will have significant experience and be able to run several on site projects at the same time, clearly delegating to less experienced team members. We are looking for someone with lateral thinking, clear communication, and collaborative spirit.Is this the job for you?

As Senior Technologist you will lead project teams, write full specifications, and regularly lead or manage small teams internally. You will need to manage your own workload in addition to supervising others. There will also be a need for you to answer complex queries from a range of internal and external clients, this will include coordinating with other consultants.You must be

Experienced in running large scale (£20m+) projects (or similar)Capable of managing and delegating workload to more junior members of your delivery team and / or to outsourcing partnersAble to manage a small team and work independentlyInterested in innovative offsite / Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and net zero carbon buildingsFlexible in your approach to a projectSomeone that cares about creating and delivering great buildings and placesEager to work on a range of projects and in a range of sectors within our London studioEager to share experience and knowledge with others working on projects across the companyAdept at managing multiple projects simultaneouslyReporting to the regional director, you will manage a small team within the studioManaging client relationships

Becoming involved at any stage of the process and being able to effectively input with minimal briefingRunning multiple or complex projects start to finish, to satisfaction of client, in profit and on timeTaking the lead role in taking a project brief for technical delivery stages, developing initial proposals for detail design (in conjunction with a small team)Demonstrating awareness of own impact on others within other teams or business areasManaging fees and invoicing for projects (with administrative assistance)Contributing to winning new workEssential skills

An in-depth knowledge of RevitTaking a brief and developing initial proposals for technical delivery stagesManaging and co-ordinating the design team and associated professional consultantsProducing, analysing and advising upon specification, materials selection and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteriaProducing, managing, controlling and integrating design and production informationEnsuring compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements for large and complex projects, possibly multiple projectsManaging the design process or development of construction projectMonitoring the financial performance of projectsA good understanding of developing technical specifications to support work packagesEvaluating and advising upon refurbishment, repair, reuse, recycling and deconstruction of buildingsAssessing and prioritising the needs of clients and users and agreeing the project briefDeveloping the project design, researching problems and producing, developing and advising upon innovative solutionsAppraising building performance in use and producing, developing and maintaining maintenance management information systemsA working knowledge of Dynamo scriptingA working knowledge of NBS ChorusEducation sector experienceExperience of managing remote outsource technical delivery partnersWhat we can offer
