TeacherActive are actively looking for SEND Teaching Assistants around the Derby area. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Teacher, taking on a wide range of responsibilities including: preparation of learning materials; working with individuals/groups and creating exciting activities. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will have previous experience working with children in KS1/Key stage 1 and KS2/Key stage 2. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a passion in supporting those with Special Educational Needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working in KS1 / KS2
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• SEND knowledge – experience working with children in a SEND setting (desirable)
