1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant / Support Staff Opportunities – Steeple Claydon

Supply Desk, in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council, is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to support students in schools across Steeple Claydon and the surrounding areas. About the RoleWe are looking for caring, motivated, and reliable individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
In this role, you will work one-to-one with pupils who require additional support due to special educational needs. Your support will help them engage in learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in the classroom.
You may support students with needs such as:
Autism (ASC)
ADHD
Dyslexia
Learning difficulties
Social, emotional, and behavioural needs (SEMH)
Whether you already have experience supporting children with SEN or you are looking to start your career in education, our consultants will work closely with you to place you in schools in Steeple Claydon and nearby communities that match your skills and availability.
RequirementsExperience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
Understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive support strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to support positive behaviour and classroom engagement
Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude
Flexibility to work across different school environments in Steeple Claydon
