Physical andamp; Personnel Security Lead - Inside IR35 - SC ClearedThe Physical andamp; Personnel Security Lead is responsible for ensuring robust protection of people, facilities and sensitive assets within a secure defence programme. The role owns physical security controls, personnel security processes, and assurance activities supporting classified operations.This position plays a critical role in safeguarding programme integrity across facilities, workforce and supply chain interfaces.Key ResponsibilitiesLead physical security strategy and controls across secure sitesOversee personnel security processes, including access controls and clearance complianceEnsure facilities and operating environments meet defence security requirementsConduct security risk assessments related to people, locations and assetsManage incidents related to physical or personnel security breachesInterface with programme leadership, security assurance and operational teamsSupport audits, inspections and continuous improvement of security postureRequired Experience andamp; CapabilityStrong background in physical and/or personnel security within secure environmentsExperience operating within defence, government or similarly regulated programmesKnowledge of access control systems, secure facilities and workforce vetting processesAbility to balance operational delivery with governance and assurance requirementsConfident engaging with senior stakeholders and operational teamsSecurity andamp; Working Envi
