Job Overview:
- Full-time, Monday - Friday English Teacher role.
- Teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
- Inspire students to develop strong literacy, analytical and communication skills.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team.
- Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities.
- Support students in preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

What We''re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a related subject.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- A passion for literacy, literature and student achievement.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
