Air Conditioning Engineer (Service & Maintenance)

Location: Manchester / North West
Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Van + Benefits

A well-established and growing building services engineering company is looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Engineer to join its expanding North West team.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong knowledge of split systems and VRV/VRF systems, carrying out service, maintenance and fault finding across commercial environments.

The business works with major FM providers and commercial clients across the North West and currently has a strong pipeline of planned maintenance work across a wide range of commercial sites.

The Role

The successful Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for service, maintenance and reactive repair work across commercial properties.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Service and maintenance of split air conditioning systems
• Service and maintenance of VRV / VRF systems
• Fault finding and reactive repairs
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Working across offices, schools, colleges and commercial buildings
• Ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely
• Providing technical support and reporting on system performance

Projects and Work Environment

Engineers typically work across:

• Commercial offices
• Education facilities
• Retail and mixed-use buildings
• FM-managed contracts

The majority of work is based across the North West including Manchester, Leeds, Lancaster and surrounding areas.

There may occasionally be short stays away for projects, but extended periods away from home are rare.

Working Hours

• 40 hour working week
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Door-to-door travel paid
• Overtime available (time and a half)
