The role will be to provide full secretarial and administrative support to a fee earner and the wider team. A genuine interest in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, and estate administration will be an advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesAudio-typingAdministrative support including: file opening, document production, filing/archiving,retrieval of files, photocopying, email management, cheque requests, and dealing withpostTyping standard and non-standard lettersDrafting documents, using appropriate precedents and templates to accurately reflectfee earner instructionAttending clients over the phone and in person to respond to enquiriesArranging and scheduling meetings and other appointmentsRunning monthly bills, diarising payments, and follow-upCarrying out other duties and responsibilities as requiredKnowledge, Skills, and AttributesPrevious experience within a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant role for a PrivateClient team desirableExcellent organisation capability with the ability to effectively prioritiseAbility to work quickly, accurately, to deadlines and under pressureCompetent with IT applications such as Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience on case management systems desirableExperience with BigHand transcription system desirableStrong written communication skillsA friendl
