Job Title: Manufacturing New Product Development (NPD) EngineerLocation: Cambridgeshire - hybrid workingType: PermanentSalary: Competitive + benefits (outlined below) SRG are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in new product development and introduction based in Cambridgeshire.This is a key role in ensuring the seamless transition of new products from development through to full-scale production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in new product development (NPD) and NPI within a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):Lead new product development activitiesSupport cross-functional project teams including RandD, quality and operations teamsWork closely with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring materials and components are available to ensure assembly and test processes are robustEnsure documentation is up-to-date and generate regular progress reports for stakeholdersDevelop and manage the delivery of PPAP requirements for new productsIdentify and implement process improvements. Key requirements:Proven experience in NPD/NPI within a manufacturing environmentHave a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and scale-up from concept to productionExcellent problem-solving and time management skills as you will be heading multiple projects at the same time.
